Kenzo has prepeared one of the most beautiful cllection for kids. The collection has been represented on Kids Fashion Week 2008, as a part of Dubai Summer Surprises Signature event. Kenzo Kids, a high-end fashion brand and a regular showing in Kids. Kids Fashion Week 2008 will go on till July 9.

The preparation to the night gown Miss Universe that will be held on the final night competition in Nha Trang City on July 1, is coming with a gull speed. The Miss Universe show is an internationally celebrated event with distribution in more than 170 countries.
CAO Fine Jewelry (a line of the renowned Phu Nhuan Jewelry (PNJ) company in Vietnam) has created the coveted 2008 Miss Universe crown. The winner of the 2008 Miss Universe Pageant, which will be broadcast live on NBC July 13 from the Crown Convention Center in Nha Trang, Vietnam, will be crowned with the masterpiece which was designed by Rosalina Tran Lydster of Jewelry by Rosalina and Ms Dang Thi Kim Lien of CAO Fine Jewelry.
It was announced also that the host of NBC’s hit show, “America’s Got Talent,” Jerry Springer and actress-singer Mel B will host the 2008 Miss Universe Pageant live on NBC from the Crown Convention Center in Nha Trang, July 13th at 9:00 p.m.

One of the places where woman can brag of attires, man can bragof woman. Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy” runs at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York from May 7 to September 1 with an opening red-carpet gala on Monday night that was to include former “Batman” star George Clooney and actress Julia Roberts.
The exhibit examines how Superman, Batman, Spider-Man and others have influenced big-name fashion designers. The feminine figure is represented by characters such as Wonder Woman and Catwoman.
“While Batman relies on a varied arsenal of gadgetry to enable him to fight crime, Iron Man is encased in full body armor. Both serve as metaphors for defensive paranoia,” the exhibits says.

Lakshmi is the new face of Hermès and that’s lovely. She is really great choice for this season’s collection especially since it was inspired by India. The campaign looks very attractively. Fresh bright colors. The Hermès Home collection and handbags and shoes with fresh bright colors and India’s motives are real nice.
Actually I’m not a big admirer of Hermès but I think highly of beauty and the sense of humour whith which the campaign was created.

Using new interpretations of today’s standard materials Folkform, winners of FutureDesignDays Award 2006, are really productive. Their latest collection is called Unique Standard and consists of Marble Cabinet, MDF and Granite Display Case, Bench in three types of leather and Masonite Chest with 18 drawers. Author’s description of the collection is “New interpretations of today’s standard materials”.

The collection as a new perception of various materials shows what can finally happen with the combination of the original material and surfaces that try to imitate its appearance.
None of the objects are yet in serial production.

It seems M.Twain said :”What a good thing Adam had. When he said a good thing, he knew nobody had said it before.” That’s right and we should envy to Adam who didn’t know a lot of things in particular that there is nothing new under the sun. Sometimes I think it’s so great to be knowing nothing then the life becomes much fascinating as in childhood and every idea, that comes to you, looks unexpectedly fresh and new. But nothing new under the sun.
