Hairstyle as an art and skill has deeply rooted history. Ancient Egyptians were big master of hair-do making, adorned their hair quite differently and very skillfully, especially their wigs that were very popular and worn by all without exception. It is inconceivable but typical Egyptian put on a new wig each day. Probably because of that wigs were incredible varied in types and styles. Usually a wig was made from human hear, sheep’s wool or vegetable fibers depending on a status.
Long natural human hair wigs, separated into three parts (called goddress) were destined for queens and noble ladies only, wool’s wigs – for middle class and the cheapest one – from vegetable fibers for farmer and slaves.
I did tell you at the beginning, that the history is deeply rooted, so the continuing the story needs more profound study and if you are interested in you can easily find it.
I just want to say that nothing is changed with the exception of passing time. Till now wigs are wide popular and loved by people who prefer stylish look. Today you can find any wig you imagine among great number of different monofilament wigs offered by online shops to have a brilliant success on Christmas and New Year’s Eve parties.
